This is an original watercolor painting. The artist started out as a textiles designer in NYC, so patterns are frequently a part of the final product. The artist has also held a deep love for watercolor since she was a child because money was tight, but she could afford a Crayola watercolor set. 

This has been painted on 140 lb cold press paper - the edges are rough by design (deckled) and I tried to not cover that up in framing. The original painting is mounted on a blank canvas then the canvas is screwed to the frame so it is sturdy, there is no glass (glare) and the painting is sprayed with a fixative so it is protected.
